This may be one of the main reasons our wonderful government officials at both the federal and state levels are fighting so hard against securing our borders. Any reasonable person might assume that their motivations have something to do with money. While that is probably the end goal, the means by which this will line certain pockets, appears to be transcontinental commerce cutting right through the heart of the U.S. from Mexico to Canada. This poorly thought out idea is being protected in Texas by the governor, who is vetoing bills to secure Texas borders and prevent Mexican trucks from going past the 25-mile corridor that Clinton fought hard to keep.

Our potted plants in Washington continue to ignore us, the legal American voters, and push forward the current immigration reform. There are some serious problems with this legislation that cannot be ignored if you care about your rights as a legal citizen. The most glaring problem is the fact that the legislation, regardless of how it is couched, rewards people who break our laws with an easy path to citizenship. Never in our history have we ever come this close to passing legislation that would reward 12-20 million criminals!! This would be a huge mistake and end up encouraging more illegal immigration rather than slowing it as lawmakers are fond of saying. (more…)

Our government officials have betrayed us with the new immigration proposal that will most likely pass in the next few weeks. Something is amiss when elected officials completely ignore what the majority of legal citizens tell them they want and decide to enact legislation that is irresponsible and ill-conceived. Rewarding criminals is bad policy and sets a precedent that may have terrible consequences in the future. No matter what your political views, if someone enters this country illegally without a visa or notifying our immigration authorities, they are breaking our laws. They may not all be murderers, rapists, or petty thieves but they are still criminals in the eyes of the law. Rewarding one group of criminals will only encourage other groups to rise up and start making demands. When will it stop?

Inviting 50 million more people to this country over the next 20 years is the second major flaw of this immigration proposal. Our local infrastructures for public services are already being taxed beyond what they can reasonably handle. How do these politicians possibly conclude that adding 50 million more people (almost 16% of our current population) will make this a better situation?

Take time to note who has betrayed you in your states and remember this in the next election. The real criminals should not be rewarded when election time comes around!

DEAR GEORGIANS,

Your two Senators stood at the press conference this afternoon and lent
their support to the worst immigration bill in history — and there have
been some disastrous ones.

After months of promising the voters of Georgia that they would never
participate in full legalization of the 12-20 million illegal aliens, these
two Senators are embracing a bill that will allow more than 98% of them to
remain in your communities and job markets forever.

And your Senators didn’t even get the trigger they talked so much about.
Rosemary Jenks is reading the bill and says that there are loopholes that
allow the full amnesty whether or not any additional enforcement measures
are ever implemented. In fact, the enforcement sections are as riddled with
loopholes as the 1986 amnesty, Rosemary says.

Sen. Isakson and Sen. Chambliss have been played as fools by Pres. Bush and
Sen. Kennedy.

Their embarrassment would be greatly reduced if you can persuade them to
vote NO next Monday.

The state of Georgia and the good citizens of Georgia are being used as the
primary props to try to convince the nation that this bill will end illegal
immigration and do what is best for the American people.

It is in your hands whether Sen. Chambliss and Sen. Isakson will be allowed
to continue to represent you in this way.

Chambliss, Saxby GA (R) 912-232-3657 2 East Bryan Street Savannah, GA 31401
202-224-3521 SR - 416 Washington, DC 20515
770-763-9090 100 Galleria Parkway Atlanta, GA 30339
229-985-2112 419-A South Main Street Moultrie, GA 31776
706-738-0302 1058 Claussen Road Augusta, GA 30907
478-741-1417 300 Mulberry Street Macon, GA 31201

Isakson, Johnny GA (R) 770-661-0999 One Overton Park Atlanta, 30339
202-224-3643 U.S. Senate Washington, DC 20510

Phone, fax and visit these offices. These Senators are prepared to sell out
Georgia next week.

Immigration reform? More like reward. Congress and the White House have just created a huge problem for our country. The new legislation is going to encourage people to break our laws, complain about being prosecuted for breaking them, stage a few protests, and get rewarded with citizenship and no accountability. This is an unfortunate and extremely dangerous action as it will make it nearly impossible to secure our borders and track who comes in to our country. It also is a big slap in the face to all of the brave immigrants who chose to apply and take the risk of having to wait a long time to be granted citizenship. It just proves that today, if you scream loud enough, complain enough, and corrupt enough politicians, you can get Congress to do anything. Even if it is not what the real government, the people, want.

This guy just doesn’t quit embarrassing himself. First he demotes and punishes police officers for doing their jobs well. Then, he openly sides with criminals and communists. Now, he is announcing that he will join the communist rally in the same place that the May 1st riot took place. It’s as if he is mocking the police and showing how much he loathes people in uniform. If there was ever a time for a coup in a major city, it would be now. He is an elected official who openly and boldly supports criminals by attending their anti-US rallies and protecting them from the police. He has created a sanctuary in one the largest cities in this country and no one seems to really care. I would not want to live in L.A. where the police are punished for targeting criminals, where the top elected officials openly support criminals, and legal citizens have their rights stripped. It is sickening to see an elected official use the office to promote criminal activity with the police chief on his payroll of crime.
